Strongly inspired by aerial forms, this dynamic, edgeless and lightweight fixture is purposefully designed to fit different types of appliances and interiors, in a sculptural approach. Aeolian was meant to be an edgeless form, without any cut-off point in the structure, showcased by a never-ending loop, in the opposite direction of what lighting is usually perceived today. A fluid sculptural piece, to which is given a useful function. The inflated profile emerges as a goal maximise structural strength while minimising spatial presence. Inspired by the section of airplane wings and wind-related machining, this airfoil shape gives a quite aerodynamic sensation, conveying a rigid while lightweight feeling to the form.
